This article examines the influence of political correctness on the creation and use of euphemisms in contemporary English, exploring how political correctness has shaped the semantic characteristics of these linguistic tools. By analyzing the impact of politically correct language on euphemisms, we observe how both concepts intersect in attempts to reduce offense, maintain inclusivity, and reflect changing social values. Examples from social, political, and corporate discourse are provided to demonstrate how euphemisms shaped by political correctness contribute to the evolution of language and social norms.
