Grammar serves as the basis of any language. For foreign language learners, understanding grammar is very important because it provides the necessary basis for effective communication. Without a good understanding of grammar, language learners can struggle to convey their thoughts clearly, leading to misunderstandings and impaired communication. This article explores the important role of grammar in mastering foreign languages and highlights its impact on four basic language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing.
