Mazkur maqolada chet tilini o‘qitishda, xususan, tinglab tushunish kompetensiyasini shakllantirishda audio-matnlardan foydalanishning nazariy va amaliy asoslari tahlil etiladi. Xorijiy va mahalliy tadqiqotchilarning izlanishlari asosida tinglab tushunish ko‘nikmalarini rivojlantirishda interaktiv, reflektiv hamda innovatsion yondashuvlarning ahamiyati yoritilgan. Jumladan, podkastlar, audiokitoblar, mobil ilovalar va sun’iy intellektga asoslangan dasturlar yordamida o‘quvchilarning eshitib idrok etish salohiyati, tilga bo‘lgan qiziqishi va o‘quv motivatsiyasi kuchayishi mumkinligi ko‘rsatilgan. Shuningdek, milliy-madaniy kontekstga asoslangan autentik audio materiallar orqali nafaqat lingvistik, balki madaniy kompetensiyalarni ham rivojlantirish mumkinligi asoslab beriladi. Tinglab tushunish faoliyatini bosqichma-bosqich tashkil etish hamda topshiriqli, bo‘laklab va ko‘p marotaba tinglash kabi strategiyalarning o‘quvchilarning til o‘rganish samaradorligiga ijobiy ta’siri yoritiladi.
