Abstract

The epithet plays a vital role in the structure of English literary texts, serving as a linguistic device that enriches the narrative and enhances the reader's experience. This article examines the significance of epithets in literary composition, exploring their function, types, and impact on the overall structure of written works. By analyzing examples from various genres and periods, this study aims to elucidate how epithets contribute to the aesthetic appeal and communicative effectiveness of English literature.
