Abstract

A literary text is considered to be a completely separate element of the general literary environment due to the presence of a large number of unique characteristics. This also explains the numerous problems associated with translating such literary works. One of the most important problems of this kind is the subject of this work which is the translation of proper names as the main functional component in the structure of a literary text.
