Abstract

English has become a global language because of various historical, economic, and cultural influences. English’s dominance in media, science, and technology has enhanced global communication and connectivity. Mastery of English is linked to improved economic prospects and access to knowledge, through it raises concerns about cultural homogenization and language inequality.
