Abstract

This article emphasizes the importance of learning new words in context, which aids in retention and practical use, how the sounds and rhythm of English can confuse learners, especially those from languages with different phonetic systems. Grammar Complexity focuses on how irregular grammar rules in English can create difficulties for learners, moreover, cultural barriers points out the cultural differences embedded in the language that affect understanding, especially with idiomatic expressions. Furthermore, this article highlights lack of motivation which discusses the common issue of motivation and proposes strategies to help learners stay engaged and persistent.
