Abstract

“The Last Leaf” by O. Henry is a timeless short story that revolves around themes of sacrifice, hope, and the power of human resilience. Set in Greenwich Village during a harsh winter, the narrative follows two struggling artists, Johnsy and Sue, and their elderly neighbor.
