Abstract

Ushbu maqolada, ingliz va o‘zbek tillaridagi “grandfather-ota” qarindoshlik otining leksik semantik va etimologik tahlili qilinadi. Zamonaviy tilshunoslikdagi nominativlar tadqiqi, xorij va o‘zbek tilshunos olimlari tomonidan bildirilgan fikr va qarashlari, fikr mulohazalari tahlil qilingan.
