This paper explores the semantic function of adverbial modifiers of place (locative adverbs) in English sentence structure. Locative adverbs, encompassing simple adverbs, prepositional phrases, and adverbial clauses, contribute significantly to conveying spatial context and enriching our understanding of sentences.
